Everyone who smokes too much is stupid and gives pot a bad name. Keep it on a weekend only basis an you will probably be fine. You shouldn't drink everyday, and the same goes for smoking. Moderation is the key, and all it takes is willpower. I know people who have smoked just on weekends for years, and they are fine. It's those who do it all the time that run into trouble. Im also interested why people who cant quit marijuana are called addicts, while those who cant quit cigarettes aren't. Tobacco is more addictive. Just wondering.

College is even harder because all i can think about at school is getting home and smoking a joint.
Just wanted to thank you and tell you that i bookmarked this website, so that i to can track your progress, and maybe can help with with inspiration or whatever.

Was a long time everyday smoker (aka drug addict, about an eighth a week) who quit 20 days ago. At first, I smoked for depression. Then I realized pot was making it worse- way worse. Had an anxiety attack and have little desire to touch it again. Feel stronger, more confident, more outgoing, smarter, funnier, more relaxed already. I no longer have a cough. Everyday I don't smoke is a day I get a little stronger. It does wonders for the self-esteem. Am I totally out of the woods? Not exactly, but giving in would mean losing the strength I've regained, and that's worth way more than a few puffs. The thought of losing what gains I've made helps me resist temptation. Have had super crazy dreams, but no insomnia or sweats or depression or anything else. If I need something to chill, I have a couple of harmless beers (and I mean two). I have a new lease on life, and surprisingly no regrets. That said, pot is a total waste of everything- time, money, brains, health. If friends encourage you to smoke, they aren't friends and should be dropped immediately. You will never, ever regret quitting smoking. Do it now! Now! Flush the weed down the toilet this instant, get rid of the paraphenalia, and never look back! The universe will congratulate you! You're worth it! Yes!
