i have been smoking a joint a day for maybe 30 years.i stopped about ten days a go and i am very tired but i wake up after only 7 hours sleep anyway.

quitting weed is quite hard. I’ve been trying for a long time. I finally stopped this summer for 2 months+, but I started up again and can’t stop! Today is “supposedly” my last day … Let’s see how long this goes. Marijuana might not be physically addictive, but it sure as heck is mentally addictive. I don’t even enjoy getting stoned that much anymore. I just get really tired and want to eat EVERYTHING. To top it off, I just wanna lay around. How the hell is marijuana so fun? It really isn’t(most of the time). I pray to God marijuana never be legalized. The world would be full of lazy, fat, stupid people.

Quitting marijuana is a difficult task for some. Please remember that marijuana effects each individual differently. Personally when I quit, like smoked&baked, I was constantly tired but at the same time could not fall asleep due to my mind racing at night. My whole body ached; I had severe lower back pain and my joints were just out of whack. The first two days I was experiencing stomach pains and on n’ off headaches. Also, I had an acne breakout which I believe was the result of sweating out the toxins of MJ. However, I just kept reminding myself why I wanted to quit (to have a clearer mind for school) and that each day I resisted the temptation to smoke would bring about a better tomorrow. For those of you who want to quit, just stay strong. Just because you have a friend, relative etc. that can do it without consquences doesn’t necessarily mean you can. I promise you as time goes on you will feel better again and more like your old self. Life is better without the burden of addiction on your shoulders. Cheers.

This is my first time quitting. I was a daily user (ounce/2 weeks)for about 7 years. I’M FRIGGIN’ SLEEPY!!! I had more energy when I was smoking. This is totally counterintuitive. Weed used to help me sleep, i’d get drousy, etc… but could easily stay awake for 18 hours. NOW – I wake up tired and stay that way the whole day… I’m struggling to stay awake at work (never had this problem, even if I would hit the blunt on the way to work!).

insominia, my arse! I’m too tired to even be irritated! No loss of appetite – I was looking forward to it to help get some of the munchy weight I’d gained over the years. Headaches – just developed over the past few days. I started taking Vitamin B to help with the energy – but its NOT working! Vitamin B gave me mad energy when i smoked.
I stopped so I could get some shit DONE… school work, papers, etc.. this is ridiculous. I can’t stay awake to do the research I need to do.
