hello all, i have been smoking weed for 9years now i am 24years old but really needed to quit after many attempts i have done it... its my 7th day now, but to be honest i still feel like i really need it  . ive given it up for my little prince who is 4years old with learning difficulties. my life it for my son and with out him i would be nothing.. i do not go out with friends and other than school my son is with me 7days a week. i have not spent a night away from him since June 2010. being a single parent and always on my own i feel like it is the only thing i can do. it is never smoked around my little boy but makes me feel guilty regardless of that fact. i blame my self for him having learning difficultys through being silly young and pregnant (PLEASE NEVER SMOKE THROUGH A PREGNANCY YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT AFFECTS IT WILL HAVE ON YOUR UN BORN CHILD) i would really like to know how long im going to feel like this for?? sometimes i feel like giving up when i do... i go and cuddle my little man play on the wii with him chase around the street anything to take my mind off it. but when he is in bed im lost and don't know what to do. i have a very stressful life with being a mum working looking after my son and keeping the house clean and us both with a healthy diet. but still smoked it from the moment i woke to the moment i went to sleep.. spending around £200 a mth if not more  has any one got any good ideas on what i can do to use my time up when he is in bed :?:

:!: Hi everyone. This thread has helped me substantially. Much like Ady I thought my health was over. I thought I was dead and ready to go to the ER over every little thing. That was just my normal anxiety freaking out even worse due to quitting. I had constant shortness of breath, panic attacks. Stomach aches, dizziness like I was going to pass out. I was certain something major was wrong with me... The end. Well I'm about 5 days down and starting to feel remarkably better, no need for doctors now. I was having the worse nightmares I've ever had even worse then when I was a child. I had sweats all night. After reading everyones like symptoms I knew I was okay. I only smoked the most crystally stanky chronic there was. After this time quitting (just to get a job) I realized I think I'm done PERIOD. how can a plant affect me that bad.... Well it's no longer a plant it's an addictive ADDICTIVE drug.

Hi everybody, firstly I would like to say this is a really good site for those people wanting to quit mj and know more about the symptoms when you do quit. I am glad I have found this website. I have been smokeing skunk for over three years now. I smoked the strong stuff during the day and every night. I also used to wake up middle of the night and early morning and smoke a joint. I have recently decided to quit. It's day 6 now for me without smokeing mj and all I can say it has been one of the most scariest experience of my life. I never though quitting mj would make me feel like I do. I have had extreme anxiety the first few days and nearly passed out couple of tomes. I have also had hot flushes where all of a sudden I would feel hot and start sweating. I also get cold chills start sweating when I'm cold. In addition to this I have been feeling Lightheadiness and disorientated sometime thinking I am not in reality. Some of the physical symptoms have got better but still suffer from anxiety worrying about things like mr health and scared to go to places where I know there will be lots of people like partys due to anxiety. This is really tough but I am not going to give up I will get through this and so will you. It's just a matter of time keep the bud out of your system and soon you will start feeling better. It's not knowing the time frame as to when these symptoms will go away. Does anyone know how long these symptoms last for? Would be grateful to hear about any similar experiences and thoughts and views.
